Pilates is a low-impact and joint-friendly exercise that focuses on controlled and precise movements. While emphasizing core strength and stability, Pilates helps enhance flexibility and mobility. It’s an exercise that strengthens, tones, and stabilizes your muscles. Pilates helps create mind-body awareness while improving body alignment and posture. By strengthening and stabilizing your muscles, Pilates will help improve your balance and coordination.


By focusing on controlled and precise movements, Pilates helps with improving coordination and quick footwork needed for court coverage. Pilates exercises can help strengthen muscles, which in turn can help prevent muscle strains and tears, which can often occur in pickleball players. With a boost in flexibility and range of motion, Pilates can help players loosen hip and shoulder muscles. This will help with hip movement for serves, ground balls, and overhead shots. By participating in Pilates, you can help build your stamina by promoting efficient breathing techniques.

Being a mother and a wife are truly my greatest gifts in this world. We have eight beautiful children, and they fill our lives with love! We enjoy living an active lifestyle – coaching is something my husband Jeremiah and I both love to do! You’ll see him around the facility helping in the Pro Shop and on the courts! Be sure to say hi! I fell in love with Pilates after the first class I took. I loved the control and focus that each movement incorporated and involved. My favorite part of Pilates is making the mind-body connection; freeing your mind from everything else and solely focusing on digging deep into each muscle throughout each movement. The foundation of Pilates is something I put into each of my classes, as I truly believe in what it offers all of my clients. Each class is created to push my clients to their full capabilities, allowing them to strengthen their bodies and build confidence throughout!
